2020 OCCMA Virtual Summer Conference

2020 OCCMA Virtual Summer Conference

Please join your OCCMA colleagues at our July 9-10 virtual summer conference. This year we won’t be able to enjoy beautiful Bend or reconnect with friends over breakfast, but the virtual format offers a few benefits. First, OCCMA’s first virtual conference is far more affordable in both time and travel expense than our summer conference. Second, we will have plenty of opportunities for interaction, including a Thursday afternoon “happy hour” with colleagues. And finally, we can include guests and speakers from other parts of the country.

Portland State University and OCCMA’s Professional Development Committee have prepared a useful mix of COVID-19 and local government topics, with practical and aspirational learning opportunities.   We’ve kept it shorter—two half days— to keep the programs moving.  During these unsettled and disconnected times, I hope you will join us to learn, discuss, and engage. I look forward to seeing you on July 9 and 10!
