The 2021 OCCMA Summer Conference will be held from July 6 through July 9, 2021 at the Mt. Bachelor Village, in Bend, Oregon.
The OCCMA Professional Development Committee has planned a diverse series of educational sessions ranging from a council-manager form of government, community engagement, DEI, health & healing, and more. The Conference begins virtually on Tuesday morning with a trade show reception that evening at Mt. Bachelor Village for those attending in person.
This year's conference will look a little different than our regular conference. We will be following all state-mandated rules regarding COVID-19. All sessions will be general sessions and the main conference room has a maximum capacity of 100 people. If we reach the maximum capacity for the conference room, additional attendees will be able to attend the general session in an adjacent room to the conference room and watch via a television screen. Seating in the main conference room will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Member Registration
This rate is a benefit of your current OCCMA membership. If you're unsure about your OCCMA membership standing, please contact [email protected] to check.
Non-Member Government Registration
If you are not an OCCMA member, but work for a government agency you should choose this option.
One-Day Virtual Registration
OCCMA recognizes that not everyone will want to attend this year's conference in person. We will be offering a one-day virtual conference on Tuesday, July 6th for those people. The virtual conference is included for all in-person registrants.
Student Registration
Students currently enrolled in University but who are not working for a city, please select this option. Your name badge will reflect your school name as your organization and your title will be listed as a student. If you are a student, but currently working for a city and wish for your badge to reflect as such, please register using the member or non-member rate.
ICMA Senior Advisors, Retired, Lifetime & In-Transition Members
ICMA Senior Advisors, ICMA official representatives, and qualifying In-Transition, Retired, or Lifetime members are invited to use this complimentary registration option. If you are not sure if you qualify, please reach out to [email protected] to confirm.
Scholarship Recipient Registration
Please use this option only if you have been notified that you were awarded a scholarship for the 2021 OCCMA Summer Conference. If you are not sure if you qualify, please reach out to [email protected] to confirm.
Registration and Cancellation Information:
Registration Dates & Late Fees
Conference registration will be open between the dates of Monday, April 26, and Tuesday, June 29, however a $50 late fee will apply for registrations received after June15. Those wishing to register after June 29 will need to do so on-site with an additional $50 fee and on a space-available basis.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason before June 15 at 5:00 pm, we would be happy to transfer your registration to another attendee or provide a full refund. Please contact [email protected] to make this request. Cancellations requested within three weeks of the event (after June 15) are not eligible for refunds, however, if the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances, the Board of Directors may provide additional consideration after the conclusion of the event.
What's Included
The registration fee includes all sessions, receptions, and meals for registered attendees.
Guests/Spouses
Guests, spouses and children are invited to attend all three receptions. Please indicate in your registration how many guests you plan to bring.
Housing Accommodations
Reservations are not included in the cost of conference registration and must be made separately from this registration system. Reservations may be made at the host resort, Mt. Bachelor Village, by calling 888-752-2220 and requesting rooms for the Oregon City Managers 2021 Summer Conference. All reservations must be made by June 5 to secure a room on the OCCMA Summer Conference block.
