2026 OMA Summer Conference

The Oregon Mayors Association is hosting its annual summer conference in Ashland, OR from August 6-8.

MAYOR REGISTRATION includes all meals, receptions, and all tours.

FULL GUEST REGISTRATION includes all meals, receptions, and all tours.

REGISTRATION DATES & LATE FEES: Online registration closes on July 24, 2026. Those wishing to register after July 24 will need to do so on-site with an additional $50 fee.

CANCELLATION POLICYRegistration must be accompanied by payment to reserve a space at this conference. To ensure accurate meal counts, we encourage you to register no later than July 24, 2026. Registration after July 24, 2026, will result in the assessment of additional fees.  No refunds will be given after 5:00 pm, July 15, 2026. HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: A room block has been secured at Ashland Hills Hotel for conference attendees. Cut-off date for the hotel is July 15, 2026.

Join mayors and guests from across the state to participate in the golf tournament. Lunch will be served following the tournament. Pre-registration is required. Players are responsible for transporting themselves to and from the golf course.  Carpooling with other players is encouraged. Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. Tee time is 8:00 a.m.

This session explores how local partnerships along the Bear Creek Riparian Corridor have evolved from pre-fire watershed restoration to coordinated fire recovery and long-term resilience efforts. Hosted at North Mountain Park, participants will engage in onsite discussion, visual exploration, and a short walk to observe restoration work and projects spanning Ashland to Central Point. The tour highlights collaborative approaches to habitat restoration, water quality monitoring, and community engagement that strengthen regional resilience.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland is a renowned repertory theatre founded in 1935 and now presents a mix of Shakespearean works, contemporary plays, and new productions each season. Running from the spring through fall, OSF stages multiple productions in rotating repertory, offering visitors a variety of performances in one visit. This tour provides a vibrant blend of world-class theatre and the charm of historic downtown Ashland.

Mayors, spouses, and guests are invited for a welcome reception and to participate in our annual fundraiser auction. The welcome reception will feature heavy appetizers and a no host bar.  This silent auction will feature gift baskets brought by mayors from all over the state. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to the OMA scholarship fund.

Description
During a one-hour walking tour in downtown Ashland, we will explore the connections between Ashland history and evolving economic trends. You will hear stories and see photos from the 1850s to the 2020s, with special attention to maintaining the vibrancy of our historic downtown. Though an hour is short to cover 170 years (!), we plan to leave time for a couple of your questions during each of the four stops on our tour. Our hope is that you will find insights or inspiration to take home with you.

Join a passionate and knowledgeable volunteer on a guided walk through Ashland’s crown jewel. Walks cover history, flora, and fauna of this great park. Volunteer led walks have been a part of Lithia Park since 1989.
